The Teachers
Morag Paterson has been exploring ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) photography for sixteen years. Her work explores the natural world, and she loves nothing more than working with abstract and impressionist imagery in her own backyard. Morag has mentored many people over the years with both practical aspects of photography, and also with developing creative vision and working collaboratively.

Kaisa Sirén is a photographic artist who brings her soul landscape visible with ICM photography, using northern sceneries of Finland as her backdrop. She focuses on themes related to the seasons of Lapland, and the sensitivity of nature. Kaisa is a co-founder of ICMPhotomag Network Community and has, since 2017, owned a gallery and art event house in Rovaniemi.

Student Testimonials

I have really enjoyed this self-study course. Usually I photograph birds and close-ups/macros of different plants. I found ICM ”by accident” and have been shooting ICM images every now and then. Elementary course was really good and gave me a lot of information on the basics. Looking forward to the Advanced Self-Study next.
- Sonja Jalonen

Thank you so much for developing such a wonderful basic course, which I believe has given me a solid foundation for continuing to develop my skills in ICM!
- Susan Bourgerie

I’m sure the ICM course has given me tools to work towards my goal. Thanks for the great course and best regards
